Aerne Engineering and the German company Festo have decided to intensify their partnership. Together, the two companies want to bundle their portfolio in the field of automation.
Aerne Engineering AG, based in Arbon, and Festo AG, based in Esslingen, Germany, have agreed on further collaboration. According to a press release on LinkedIn, the two partners intend to work more closely together in the field of electric drive solutions. Aerne Engineering AG operates a site in the Technopark Winterthur.
Aerne Engineering will act as a new Festo Solution Partner EA. Under the designation Festo Solution Partner EA, selected companies operate as qualified suppliers of automation solutions. They can offer their customers solutions within the scope of Festo’s electric drive technology. As a Festo Solution Partner EA, the specialist machine manufacturer Aerne Engineering wants to ‘specifically utilise innovative solutions and first-class technologies in order to inspire our customers even more’, as stated in the press release. The Arbon-based company hopes that this collaboration between Aerne Engineering and Festo will open up new opportunities for the future.
Festo was founded 100 years ago as a mechanical engineering company and has continuously expanded its expertise over the decades. The company now specialises in electrical automation as well as process automation. ce/ww
