The consulting company Consys AG supports organisations when it comes to process, risk, project or quality management. Owner and CEO Serdar Gelebek is breaking new ground and combining his own consulting services with software solutions.
Consys AG has been based at Technopark Winterthur since September 2023. The company, led by owner and CEO Serdar Gelebek, specialises in advising organisations on process, risk, project and quality management. With Consys AG, Serdar Gelebek is breaking new ground and combining his personal consulting services with software solutions for management, information, data management and project portfolio systems. This change is forward-looking for the company in the age of digitalisation. Not only have regulatory requirements and the generation of data become more complex, but the shortage of skilled labour is also encouraging Serdar Gelebek in the transformation of his company.
Serdar Gelebek took over Consys AG in 2023 and is the third owner of the consulting company. The company has been around since 2001, and Serdar Gelebek first came into contact with Consys AG as a customer in 2014. «At the time, we received QM software from Consys AG and were in close contact with the company,» says Serdar Gelebek. In 2017, he made the decision to found his own company, Pragmatec Consulting GmbH. He then became a sales partner of Consys AG. Then in 2022 came the offer to take over Consys AG. During the coronavirus crisis, Serdar Gelebek saw an opportunity to combine the two companies and link digitalisation and software with pragmatic consulting. «We will continue to maintain our usual activities as we did at Pragmatec Consulting GmbH, but will offer process-simplifying software connections in the future.»
Quality in practice
The consulting services are most pronounced in the healthcare and medical technology sectors. However, Serdar Gelebek emphasises that he can support companies in many other areas. «The term quality management is somewhat misleading and doesn’t just ensure the quality of a product. Good quality management is first and foremost a way of carefully organising a company,» says Serdar Gelebek. He and his team of four provide support to numerous companies and organisations. Quality management must be taken seriously by a company so that the organisation can benefit from it and generate added value. «We advise companies not to use quality standards and certificates solely as a marketing tool. Quality must be lived and not just communicated to the outside world,» emphasises the trained auditor.
Years of experience within the medical sector
Serdar Gelebek himself can look back on a career of over 20 years within the medical industry. After completing his apprenticeship as a mechanical designer, he worked for many years in product development with doctors. After training as a qualified technician in business processes HF, he continued to specialise over time and undertook further training in the regulatory environment. Today, his experience in everything from management to quality assurance enables him to assist his clients in difficult decisions or projects.
Consys AG, led by Serdar Gelebek, will continue to develop its consulting services paired with software solutions based at its office at Technopark Winterthur. In doing so, he wants to open up new paths for existing customers, but also continue to offer proven solutions.
