The cleantech company from Technopark Winterthur is developing software that can be used to quickly compare different energy systems for sites and neighbourhoods. This allows well-founded investment and decarbonisation paths to be identified and implemented - an important contribution to the energy transition and the implementation of the new Electricity Act.
With data-based solutions for sustainable neighbourhood and site development, Sympheny is one of the 37 companies nominated for the Green Business Award 2025. Sympheny’s software makes it possible to quickly analyse and compare different energy systems. An important basis for making informed investment decisions and reducing CO₂ emissions in a targeted manner, as the start-up writes on LinkedIn. The company is thus making a concrete contribution to the implementation of the new Electricity Act and the transformation of the energy industry.
Sympheny was nominated by swisscleantech. A high-calibre jury chaired by former Federal Councillor Doris Leuthard – including Reto Knutti, Michèle Rodoni and Patrizia Laeri – will decide on the winners. Sympheny is part of the ASCENT Startup Accelerator start-up support programme at Technopark Winterthur.
