The newly published funding conditions make it official: starting now, innovative ideas for Winterthur can once again be submitted via WinLab and reviewed for potential funding of up to CHF 60,000. Ideas for the first cycle can be submitted until February 17, 2026.
The WinLab co-creation platform is the digital meeting place for innovators from administration, science, business, and civil society. The aim is to jointly develop smart solutions for sustainable urban development in Winterthur.
Several times a year, WinLab reviews submitted project ideas that contribute to the city’s quality of life, climate protection goals, and attractiveness as a location—ranging from social to technological innovations. Selected projects are eligible for funding of up to CHF 60,000 through WinLab. In addition, project teams benefit from networking and co-creation within the WinLab ecosystem.
Important: Project ideas must be submitted by February 17, 2026, at the latest, in order to be reviewed in the first cycle.
