To support young and innovative startups and businesses, the Swiss foundation W.A. de Vigier is awarding prizes of up to five times 100,000 Swiss Francs. The W.A. de Vigier Award is one of the most prestigious startup awards and has been awarded since 1987. Applications are open until January 5, 2024. The renowned award has already been given to 145 Swiss startups, with a total of 14.3 million Swiss Francs provided in funds.
An exciting selection process
From hundreds of submitted projects, the foundation’s jury selects 50 startups for the Selection Day. On this day, the pool of competitors is narrowed down to 15. The 15 CEOs then go through an interview process and present their ideas to the board, which then selects the final ten nominees. At the award ceremony in June, up to five startups will receive a W.A. de Vigier Award, each endowed with 100,000 Swiss Francs. Learn more at https://devigier.ch/.
