Apply now: Energy & Environment Accelerator 2026/2027

The Energy & Environment Accelerator is launching a new round and is looking for innovative Swiss start-ups whose solutions contribute to a more sustainable future. Applications are open until 15 August 2026.

The Energy & Environment Accelerator is entering its next round. The STARTUP CAMPUS support programme at ZHAW supports promising Swiss start-ups in the energy and environment sectors through a six-month programme. From September 2026 to March 2027, participating teams will receive personalised support, valuable contacts and access to a strong network of companies, investors and public sector partners. During this period, Technopark Winterthur will serve as the programme’s home base and will support the start-ups in terms of infrastructure.

Tailored support for the next phase of growth

At the heart of the programme is personalised coaching, specifically tailored to the needs and challenges of each individual start-up. An investment readiness programme also prepares the teams for meetings and pitches to investors.

The selected start-ups also benefit from a co-working space accessible round the clock and can take part in exclusive events such as the Energy Start-up Day, the Sustainability Booster and the Smart Energy Party. The programme culminates in a pitch event, where the teams present their solutions to investors and other partners. In addition, attractive prizes await the participating start-ups.

Who can apply?

The search is on for start-up teams with at least two co-founders who are working on innovative solutions in the fields of energy or the environment. The business idea should contribute to at least one of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. A further requirement is that the start-up must be based in Switzerland.

Key dates

The application deadline is 15 August 2026. Selected start-ups will be notified by 5 September 2026 at the latest. The programme starts on 15 September 2026 and runs until March 2027.

Apply now and become part of a growing community of founders who are actively shaping the future of the energy and environmental sectors.
