Thomas Schoch assumed the position of Chairman of the Board of Directors of Technopark Winterthur AG on 1 September 2026. He succeeds Daniel Anderes, who stepped down from his roles as Chairman and member of the Board at the end of August. At the same time, several other personnel changes in recent months have reshaped the Board of Directors of Technopark Winterthur AG.
Since 1 September, Thomas Schoch has served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Technopark Winterthur AG. Daniel Anderes stepped down as both Chairman and member of the Board effective 31 August 2026.
Daniel Anderes had served as Chairman of the Board of Directors of Technopark Winterthur AG since 2020 and guided Technopark Winterthur through several important phases of development. Key milestones during his tenure included the refurbishment and repositioning of the entire ground floor, successfully maintaining operations during the COVID-19 pandemic, and the change in executive management from Thomas Schumann to Stève Mérillat. The Board of Directors and the team at Technopark Winterthur AG would like to sincerely thank Daniel Anderes for his many years of commitment, his valuable contribution and his dedication to the continued development of Technopark Winterthur.
Thomas Schoch has been a member of the Board of Directors of Technopark Winterthur AG for four years and, as an entrepreneur and startup investor, brings the experience and network needed for the company’s strategic development.
Further Changes to the Board: New Members and a Return to Full Strength
In addition to the change in chairmanship, the Board of Directors has undergone several personnel changes in recent months. Michael Ott joined the Board on 26 May 2026 as the representative of Zürcher Kantonalbank, succeeding Ronald Kundert. Following the change in the presidency of the City of Winterthur, Stefan Fritschi also joined the Board on 1 July 2026, succeeding Mike Künzle.
Moritz Heim of Dahinden Heim Partner Architekten AG was also newly elected to the Board of Directors on 26 May 2026. With these changes, the Board of Directors of Technopark Winterthur AG is once again fully staffed as intended.
The position of Vice Chair of the Board of Directors will also be filled. Franziska Zuber, who has been a member of the Board of Directors of Technopark Winterthur AG since 2021, will now assume the role of Vice Chair.
These appointments mark a renewed composition of the Board of Directors of Technopark Winterthur AG. The Board supports the strategic development of Technopark Winterthur and helps strengthen its position as a hub and network for technology-oriented companies, startups and innovation in Winterthur.
