The 60 semifinalists for the venture Startup Competition have been selected. We are pleased to note that four of the selected startups are from the support programs run by Technopark Winterthur and its partner organizations. This is a strong testament to the TPW ecosystem.
The results of the first round of >>venture>> have been announced. Out of a total of 451 submitted projects, 60 startups have been selected for the next phase of the competition. This means that the current edition was not only particularly competitive but also sent a strong signal about the innovative strength of the Swiss startup scene.
Particularly encouraging from Technopark Winterthur’s perspective: Among the 60 >>venture>> semifinalists are several startups from the TPW ecosystem or from initiatives and support programs closely linked to Technopark Winterthur. This would not have been possible without the partner organizations RUNWAY Startup Incubator, STARTUP CAMPUS, and ZHAW.
Among them are:
The fact that several startups from these programs have made it into the 60 semifinalists of >>venture>> underscores the quality and relevance of the support provided within the TPW ecosystem. This achievement demonstrates that the Winterthur innovation ecosystem is producing strong, forward-looking projects that are also making an impact at the national level.
In total, 211 judges reviewed, evaluated, and provided written feedback on all 451 submissions to >>venture>> in the first round. This feedback offers valuable guidance to all participating projects for their next steps—regardless of whether they made it to the next round or not, as >>>venture>> notes on LinkedIn.
We warmly congratulate all 60 selected startups on this success and are particularly pleased for RELiYOO, Windworks, fridge, and Bizbus on their well-deserved placement among the 60 semifinalists of >>venture>>.
